About the Role
I'm partnering with one of the world’s leading privately held energy trading companies, to identify a wholesale power originator with strong experience in structured products across PJM and/or MISO markets.
This is a unique opportunity to join a highly entrepreneurial and commercially focused team with meaningful autonomy, significant upside , and the backing of a world-class trading platform.
What You'll Do

Originate structured wholesale power transactions in PJM and/or MISO.

Develop term deals such as tolling agreements, basis swaps, and shaped hedges .

Work closely with trading, structuring, and analytics to create bespoke solutions.

Focus on build-from-scratch origination – no large fleet to sell from.

Engage with counterparties including IPPs, developers, gas generators, and utilities.
Ideal Background

5–15 years in power origination, trading, or structuring.

Deep familiarity with PJM and/or MISO market dynamics and counterparties.

Experience working at a trading shop, IPP, or power marketer .

Entrepreneurial approach – comfortable developing deals from a blank sheet.

Proven ability to navigate complex, long-cycle transactions.
